Does anyone know who makes the upright mounted AAMG in this pic from the Low Level Hell website?

I know Liberation makes one as does Britannia (though I've not yet seen theirs), but I love the look of that one in the pic.

I figured as much. QC did nice stuff. WHY on earth someone hasn't bought the moulds to re-release their stuff if QC doesn't want to do it anymore, is beyond me. They are depriving the 20mm gaming world some hella nice figures.

Oh well... Confused

Thanks CM.

Guys, though I never saw the civilians, I was rather impressed by the sheer number of packs and poses they had in their pricelist.

Any ideas what reasons QC gave at no longer producing or supporting their range?

I've always wondered how much time, money, and resources it takes to run a mini's line. Maybe when I win the lottery I'll have to look into it. Laughing

I don't know how much money/resources it takes to run a line of miniatures, but a friend of mine who ran a hobby store used to ask: Do you know how to make a million dollars in this business? Start with 5 million!

I've always heard it's not the most profitable business to get into that's for sure. Rolling Eyes

LOL Scouts that's pretty funny!! Laughing But sadly, it's true. This is and always will be a cottage industry. The downside to that is always feeling the need to spend a ton of cash on a figures range or ruleset because you never know how long they'll be around. Crying or Very sad

Ya, it sure would be nice if QC could get back into it, or if SHQ would sculpt up some new stuff!

BTW, I have the Britannia NVA .51cal AAMG, and it's pretty nice (as long as you like the Britannia figures...)

Stan Johansen has some nice HMGs coming out in August for modern combat in 20mm. I wonder if they could be used for Nam?

Hi B6,

Richard, owner of Qualiticast was a regular attendant of our yearly wargaming convention. At our show in 2003 he told us that he would stop his business and go back to being an engineer.
He just stopped and as far as I know hasn't sold any of his ranges.
I mailed him again about a week ago but haven't received a reply yet..
I'll keep you posted.

Bart
